Alice In WonderSLand Performances Extended

The Avatar Repertory Theater Group (ART) have had such a runaway success with their in-world production of Alice in WonderSLand that they have extended the show for two further performances. 'Alice' had been sold out for each performance in May and the two extra live shows will be shown on the weekend of June 5-June 6. You can purchase the tickets on xstreet and there is extra information at the Cookie sim. I went to see the show and I was blown away with it, it was brilliant! It's one not to miss!!

Never Say Never to Never Never Land!

They call it Never Never Land and in the SL Showcase it's described as a 'magical, romantic fantasy hideout where residents are encouraged to dance with their partners under the stars.' I went over to find out what this wondrous place looked like and I wasn't disappointed!
The beauty of the sim strikes you on entry, the vibrant colours used to create this fairytale setting with it's dappled light and array of wild flowers is breathtaking.

You can rez a horse there to go riding around the sim and I decided to use my own horse to explore. It is romantic, there are little winding rivers leading from one place of beauty to another.
You can imagine dragons and faeries there, in fact there is a roaring dragon at the entry point, and the little red toadstools in the fields of wild poppies are so pretty.
I asked friend Drax Ember to join me and tell me what he thought, he agreed that it was the perfect place for those avatars who have romance in mind. Either alone, or with someone you love, you will enjoy your visit to Never Never Land owned by the TimeToTerraform group.

Moody Blues for Breakfast

Dancing in the morning!! you can't beat it! (well afternoon for me actually in the UK) but the morning for lots of other people across the world! I saw on the invite to the Tropical Drift sim that DJ Genevieve Gagne was having a Moody Blues morning in the Aragon Ballroom, so I decided to go over to listen to their great music! It was lovely, quite a few people had dropped in and Maggie Nemeth was doing a good job hosting too, making everyone welcome. DJ Gen spun her magic as she played all those romantic Moodie's songs. The Ballroom is just a nice size and has that special feel about it, it's a romantic venue, but you feel equally at home if you go on your own to dance. The crowd are friendly and everyone chats and feels relaxed there. DJ Gen has promised a Beach Boys morning, on the beach close by the Ballroom, for tomorrow, I'm guessing it's around 7 am (PDT), but contact DJ Gen in-world to be sure!

The Tropical Harmony Community Offers All You Need In SL

I can't count the number of times I have teleported from location to location looking for certain shops without success, well now I don't have to. You can find all the big named stores in one beautiful setting in the Tropical Drift region. In Tropical Drift you will find the Tropical Harmony Community with it's own London Club, Pub, Ballroom, Shopping Mall and golden beaches. The community has quickly become established, as Brie Janick and Seany1235 Blinker set up the island using their vast experience and knowledge of running SL businesses and residential estates from the days when they worked in Virtual London. Now branching out on their own, they have made the island into an absolute dream, the beach is the latest creation in Tropical Drift, having its own bar and dance floor, and the landscaping is glorious. The glamorous Aragon Ballroom, trendy West End Club and lively Union Jack Pub are all close by, and if you are lucky you can rent a skybox which gives you a luxurious furnished apartment with complete privacy (a snip at 250 Lindens a week and you can furnish it yourself if you wish to). Master Builder Clive Hissop has been creating all the wonderful buildings there, making it into a tropical paradise. In fact once settled into the Tropical Harmony group, you won't want to venture anywhere else in SL.
